Dream Wisconsin Wedding for Grace + Christian | 5.23.21
Updated: Jul 26
I recently got to shoot a wedding for such a SWEET couple in southern Wisconsin!
Grace + Christian got married at The Rustic Manor 1848 - a Southern Wisconsin Wedding Venue. I first met Grace back in February 2020 when I was her brother's wedding photographer. When Grace asked me to photograph their wedding, I was thrilled! I had so much fun photographing Sydney and Drew's day, and I knew this wedding would be the same! I love connecting with my past clients and being able to see them again. Sydney and Drew were both in the wedding so it was really nice to visit with them + see some familiar faces at the wedding!
Their wedding took place at the end of May, which can often bring uncertain weather. Scattered thunderstorms were forecasted for the entire day, but the rain held off until the reception and we were able to get all the bridal + family portraits outside! I was so thankful. The Rustic Manor 1848 is situated on many acres of land so it has a lot of cool locations for photos! My particular favorite spot (and the bride's fav!) was this gorgeous European-style stone house covered in ivy. It made for such a pretty background for the bridal portraits!
After the ceremony and family/bridal portraits, the party continued inside with a sweet barn reception. There were tears shed, many laughs and the biggest hugs! Every part of their reception was just filled with intention.
At the end of the night, the bride and groom's guests did a ribbon send off. It was so fun + sweet. Both groom's mom, and the bride's mom stopped them to get one more kiss before they left!
